Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture,cupping and both of acupuncture and cupping in the recovery of exercise-induced fatigue.Methods:140 female athletes in exercise-induced fatigue are randomly divided into 5 groups:acupuncturing and cupping Back-shu acupoints group(n=30),acupuncturing Back-shu acupoints group (n=30),cupping Back-shu acupoints group(n=30), regular acupuncturing group(n=30), blank group(n=20). Back-shu acupoints used were five-zang-organs'Back-shu and Ge-shu acupoint.Regular acupoints used were Qihai,Guanyuan,Zusanli.The treatments were conducted for a training period,and contracts were made,respectively,befor and after the treatments,among the 5 groups. Results:According to the analysis of symptomatic grades and the subjective fatigue senses grades,acupuncturing and cupping the Back-shu,acupuncturing the Back-shu have obviously effect on curing fatigue.The activity of CK ,concentration of BUN and Hb in the blood of the athletes after sports in the above two groups improve significantly.Their similar effect is better than the regular acupuncturing group.The cupping group has no effect on improving exercise-induced fatigue.Conclusion:Acupuncture aimed on modifying the five-zang-organs and the whole qi and blood in the human body has obviously effect on improving the athletes in exercise-induced fatigue, cupping has no effect on it.The application of the two methods has no difference with the acupuncturing therapy in improving the exercise-induced fatigue.
