Effects Of Acupuncture And The Tradition Chinese Medicine Succinic Acid On The Development Of Kingdling Model

Objective:To study the effects of acupuncture and succinic acid on amygdala kindling development in rats.And observe the influence of acupuncture and succinic acid on the model.Find out the way of quenching and preventing the kindling.Methods:.To the acupuncture group,dazhui(DU14) was selected and was acupunctured one time a day for 10 days.After 10 days,we acupunctured and electrical stimulation of the right amygdale was given one time a day.Observed the Racine's degree and the after discharge duration(ADD) of each group.Kindled epilepsy rat models was acupunctured on dazhui at a 10-day course of treatment,three courses was done totally.Electrical stimulation was done to rats on the right amygdale when a treatment course finished.,to compare the Racine's degree and the ADD of different treatment courses.On the model, we observed the effect of succinic acid on the kindling development.After the rats were kindled,Intraperitoneal injection and intragastric administration were applicated,we recorded ADT,Racine's stage and ADD of different doses of succinic acid and contrasted with no treatment.Results:We found simulation acupuncture had no influence on ADD of the kindling process(P＞0.05),but acupuncture can reduce the ADD of the kindling process,and significantly cut down the ADD ofⅠandⅡRacine's degree(P＜0.01).Acupuncture on dazhui can delay the emergence of the Racine's stages fromⅠtoⅤ(P＜0.01 ).Acupuncture on dazhui has no effect on the Racine's stages and decrease the ADD of the third treatment course(P＜0.05).Succinic acid can't delay theⅤof Racine's stages(P＞0.05),and has no the use of shorting ADD(P＞0.05),when the dose of succinic acid is 100mg·kg^-1. Succinic acid can dose-dependent increase ADT and reduce Racine's stages when was given by intraperitoneal injection.Succinic acid can short the ADD of kindled rats (P＜0.05) and reduce Racine's stages(P＜0.01)when was given by intragastric administration. Conclusion:It suggested that acupuncture can delay the process of kindling.The succinic acid's role of prevetion kindling was matched with its character of tranquilizing and allaying excitement,which was recorded on the ancient books.
