Study On Rules Of Using And Manipulating Zhong-jing Formulae By Zhang Jing-yue

Objective The understanding of formula matching and modification can be enhanced by investigating the principal of using and modifying Zhong-jing Formulae from Zhang Jing-yue. So, theories of Zhang Jing-yue and Zhang Zhong-jing are fully realized and thus instruct formula application.Methods By selecting 5 of the most common Zhong-jing formulae used by Zhang Jing-yue, discussing the application and rules of these formulae in Jing Yue Quan Shu , to analyse the contents of formulae. Meanwhile, the combination and modification of corresponding formulae in Sin Fang Ba Zhen are also studied. Lastly, all details are integrated and supplying information to Zhong-jing formulae from Sin Fang Ba Zhen is concluded.Resultsâ‘ Zhang Jing-yue has his unique understand of Zhong-jing formulae.â‘¡Zhang Jing-yue enriched the method of warming and replenishing of Yang from Yin.â‘¢Sin Fang Ba Zhen added the treating principal, formulae and herbs to Yin -deficient-type Shang Hang. He also contributed to the content of different treatment such as relieving superior, moderating, etc and curing serve diseases.Conclusion Zhang Jing Yue stressed on diseases' mechanism and Zhen Qi. His theory is based on his deep understanding on ancient classics like Nei Jing, Shang Han Lun etc. By integrating his own theories of Yin-Yang and clinical experiences, he modified Zhong Jing formulae and created new formulae, he also completed the treatments by applying methods in Shang Han Lun and enriching Zhong-Jing's Theory...
