Analysis Of Fracture Conditions In 100 Cases And Therapeutic Experiences Of Open Injury In Earthquake

[Objective] To summarize the assessment and the strategy of treatment of open wound in earthquake.To make a reference for the treatment of earthquake injury.[Methods]Up to 100 cases of earthquake victims registered in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were analysed,and the characteristics of wound were summarized.Observe the therapeutic effects of patients with open wound.[Result]Among 100 patients,mechanical injury was the main reason in earthquake injury.There were patients with fractures in 77.0%,soft tissue injury in 13.0% ,extremities and pelvic fractures in 55.0%,multiple fractures in 35.0% and open fractures in 17.0%.All patients with open wound underwent surgical treatment were healed in time,there was no infection or amputation happened.[Conclusion]The major wound of the earthquake victims is fracture, upper limb fractures are more than lower limb fracture. There is high incidence of infections associated with the open wound. The surface of wound were treated with debridement and vacuum-sealing drainage.The open wounded with fracture underwent an efficient fixation.The sensitive antibiotics were administrated according to the cultural result of the wound.With the perfect treatment strategy,the wound healing and the limb rehabilitation would be accelerated and the function of limbs would be quickly recovere.
