Objective:To explore the influence of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(HDCP) on lipid peroxidation in mothers and neonates by investigating the correlationship between plasmic values of 8-iso-prostagllandin F(2alpha)(8-iso-PGF2α) and functional changes in heart, liver and kidney and,to explore the predicting value of plasmic 8-iso-PGF2α on neonatal lipid peroxidation in gravidas with preeclampsia by analyzing the correlationship of 8-iso-PGF2α levels between mothers and their newborns.Methods:46 pairs of mothers with preeclampsia and their newborns were enrolled as case group, which was divided into group a(mild preeclampsia) and group b(sever preeclampsia).40 pairs of normal ones served as controls.Maternal peripheral blood and neonatal umbilical blood specimens were collected for 8-iso-PGF(2α)measurement by ELISA and,for detection of functional changes in heart, liver and kidney assessed by ALT,GGT,ALP,AST,LDHI,CK,CK-MB,HBDH,Scr and UA levels. All the data were analyzed by SPSS 15.0 software. Results:l)Matemal plasmic 8-iso-PGF(2α) values in group A and B were 208.34±35.43pg/ml and 401.23±120.23 pg/ml respectively and significantly higher than that in controls 190.12±28.91pg/ml(p=0.000;p=0.000).2) Urnbilieal 8-iso-PGF2α values in group A and B were 159.32±18.45pg/ml and 169.35±23.45pg/ml respectively and significantly higher than that controls 146.82±12.04pg/ml(p=0.017;p=0.000).3) There was positive correlation of 8-iso-PGF2α,values between mothers and neonates(r=0.471,p=0.000).4) Maternal ALT,HBNH and UA levels,as well as neonatal GGT,ALP,AST,CK-MB,LDHI and HBDH values, rise significantly in group B.Positive correlation ship was found between 8-iso-PGF2α values and the ascending of GGT,AST,LDH1,CK-MB and HBDH in newborns in group B.Conclusions:That plasmic value of 8-iso-PGF2α rise significantly in gravidas with Preeclampsia and their newborns suggests oxidative stress may participate in pathophysiological Proeess of HDCP which induces lipid peroxidational impairment both in mothers and neonates. There is Positive correlation of 8-iso-PGF2α values between mothers and neonates and maternal 8-iso-PGF2α detection could be an early predictor for fetal/neonatal lipid peroxidational impairment.
