Objection:Diabetes mellitus has now reached epidemic proportions in the Western world. The associated cardiovascular complications are a result of severe metabolic derangement, which leads to chronic tissue injury.Diabetic cardiovascular complication is one of the major diabetic complications, which is responsible for many of the disabilities and short life expectancy associated with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. As is diabetes itself, diabetic cardiovascular complication is a multifactor disease. Here,we observe the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease and other correlated metabolism indicators, approaching the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease,in order to provide theory evidence of diabetic vascular complications prevention and cure for clinical use, study the clinical and coronary angiographic in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease.Aim:To study the clinical and coronary angiographic in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease. Methods:A total of 157 patients with coronary heart disease, confirmed by coronary angiography, were enrolled in this study. The patients were divided into two groups:69 coronary heart disease patients without type 2 diabetes mellitus(CG:coronary heart disease group),88 coronary heart disease patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(DG: diabetes group),The clinical features and the data from selective coronary angiographies were compared between two groups. All data were used SPSS 13.0 software to progress statistical analysis. There was significantly difference if p<0.05.Results:the changes of coronary many vessel(8.6%vs33.0%P<0.01 ),the diffuse vascular lesion(1.1%vs5.0%P<0.01 ) were significantly higher in DG than those inCG.Conclusion:The occurrence of coronary multi-vessel changes, narrow coronary arteries and diffuse vascular lesion is more frequent in DG than those in CG.
