Studies Of EG-VEGF's And Survivin's Expression In Endometriosis And Their Clinical Value

Object:To investigate the expression of the endocrine gland-derived vascular endothelial growth factor(EG-VEGF)and Survivin in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium of patient with endometriosis(EMS)and in eutopic endometrium of patients without EMS their relationship,as well as their influence on the EMS development and angiogenesis.Material and methods:The expression of EG-VEGF and Survivin were determined by PV-6000 two-step immunohistochemistry in 66 cases ectopic endometrium of EMS,in 29 cases eutopic endometrium of EMS and in 23 eutopic endometrium without EMS.To analyze the expression of EG-VEGF and Survivin and their relationship through Pearson chi-square test,Fisher's exact test and Spearman correlations..Result:EG-VEGF and Survivin both express in the cytoplasm of ectopic endometrium of EMS,eutopic endometrium of EMS and eutopic endometrium.The positive rate of EG-VEGF in ectopic endometrium of EMS,eutopic endometrium of EMS and eutopic endometrium withoue EMS were respectively 80.3%(53/66), 51.7%(15/29),8.7%(2/23),and their difference were statistical significance (P＜0.001),There are on difference in the positive rate of EG-VEGF in menstrual secretory phase,proliferative phase ectopic endometrium of EMS,eutopic endometrium of EMS and eutopic endometrium withoue EMS(P＞0.05).The positive rate of Survivin in ectopic endometrium of EMS,eutopic endometrium of EMS and eutopic endometrium without EMS were respectively 75.8%(50/66),44.8%(13/29),13.0%(3/23),and their difference were statistical significance(P＜0.001).Survivin express significanthly higher in menstrual proliferative phase than in secretory phase of ectopic endometrium of EMS, eutopic endometrium of EMS and eutopic endometrium withoue EMS(P＜0.05).The expression of EG-VEGF and Survivin in ectopic endometrium of EMS,eutopic endometrium of EMS and eutopic endometrium withoue EMS was statistical significantly positive correlation.Conclusion:EG-VEGF and Survivin both overexpress in the cytoplasm of ectopic and eutopic endometrium of EMS,and their expression were positive correlation. EG-VEGF can promote the development of vascular endothelial cell and Survivin can suppress the apoptosis of vascular endothelial cell,therefor they may play an important role in the ectopic endometrium's implantation,infiltration and development.
