| Objective:To discuss the imaging diagnosis and therapeutic effect of microsurgical treatment of the pineal region tumors.Methods:32 patients with pineal region tumors in our hospital from 1999 to 2009 were analyzed retrospectively.Results:32 cases underwent surgery,18cases were Poppen approach,12 cases were Krause approach.Operation procedures consisted of tatol resection in 20 cases,subtotal resection in 12 cases.Conclusion:CT and MRI imaging is important for the diagnosis of pineal region tumors.Microsurgical removal is effective for most of the pineal region tumors. |
