Preliminary Study About Effect Of Operation To Remove The Pineal Gland Tumors Through Poppen Approach

ObjectivePreliminary discuss the effect of microscopic resects the pineal gland tumor through the Poppen approach.MethodsRetrospective analysis from August2010to the end of January2013in the Qilu Hospital of Shandong University in the clinical data of62cases of patients. Clinical cases were divided into the operation group and non-operation group. Use statistical medthods to test the difference of the surgical resect the pineal gland tumors through Poppen approach and via other approaches.Articles were identified via Pubmed, CNKI by using Boolean searches with key words "pineal region tumor","approach","Poppen" and "Anatomy". We performed a comprehensive search of the published English and Chinese language literature to identify studies containing outcome data about injury to surrounding structures and implied statistical analysis of the collected data in order to the differences between the various operation methods.ResultsMicrosurgery resection of the pineal gland tumors via Poppen approach and through other approaches in total resection of statistics in the resection degree is P<0.05, a statistical significance, preliminary think total resection the pineal gland tumors through Poppen approach is better than via other approaches. ConclusionThe approach via Poppen is one of the pineal region tumor treatment safer and effective best approach, physiological and brain into the gap, total resection rate, surgical trauma, a good therapeutic effect.
