Objective To explore the cilinical characters of the patients with both metabolic syndrome and coronary heart disease, including the character of the coronary artery lesions, cardiac function,Heart Rate Variability to these patients. Methods 104 coronary heart disease patients from 2008.11 to 2009.2 in our ward were divided into 2 groups:the metabolic syndrome patients(MS group,49 cases), non-metabolic syndrome patients(non-MS group,55 cases). All patients were recorded with body mas index, hypertension history, diabets history and tested with fasting blood glucose(FPG),TG,HDL-c,LDL-c.All patients took Coronary arteriongraphy(CAG) scoring and assay of the left ventricular rejection fraction(LVEF)measured by echocardiograph and were valued with heart rate variability by using Holter 24h R-R intervals variability analysis system.Result All these clinical and chemical characters except the age were significant between MS and non-MS group.Coronary arteriongraphy scoring was higher in MS group than in non-MS group(p<0.01),three-vessels lesions were more in MS group than in non-MS group(p<0.01),LVEF and HRV decreased in MS group(p<0.05).Coronary artery was worse in only-MS group than in MS+DM group(p<0.05).HRV was less in these patients with more vessel lesions(p<0.05).Conclusion The patients with MS have a group of risk factors on the coronary heart disease,as so they may have more opportunity to suffer from combined lesions, severe vessel lesions and the decreased HRV. heart disease,as so they may have more opportunity to suffer from combined lesions, severe vessel lesions and the decreased HRV.
