| Objective:Through observing the patients with active gastric ulcer on epidemiologic inquiry in wuhan city,to summarize the etiologic factor statistics of it,to explore relevant etiologic factor, their laws and their statistics;in the meanwhile,to testify the main etiologic factor of active gastric ulcer and to testify the efficiacy of jiedu-xiaoyong chongji treating active gastric ulcer.This research would improve gastric ulcer etiology and advance the efficiacy of treating gastric ulcer of tranditional Chinese medicine.Methods:1.we collected 100 patients who diagnosed active gastric ulcer in gastroenterology endoscopic center of wuhan hospital of TCM integrated western medicine,inquired for all of these patients in general,past medical history,etiology,clinical symptoms, observed pulse and tongue,test and record HP infection in stomash. At the same time,patients' tongue were collected the application of high-resolution digital camera.All data on the patients' features were analyzed,organized,and summarized by deputy director of TCM Physicians of our gastroenterology Department.2.In the above-mentioned 100 cases of active gastric ulcer,we selected 60 cases with good compliance,differentiated as toxin-heat Syndromes,as our research objiectives.And them were randomnly divided into two groups,and each group were 30 cases.The pitients of treatment group took jiedu-xiaoyong chongji with 8 weeks,and the patients of control group took an-wei-yang capsule with also 8 weeks.We recorded the main symptoms and secondary symptoms of two groups before and after treatment,and observed improvement of them.All the pitients also were reviewed electronic gastroscopy to observe the form,stage,size changes of the ulcer, and carried out biopsy under endoscopy,testing HP in stomash again, observed histopathologic improvement with HE staining before and after treatment.Results:1.From the findings of 100 patients with active gastric ulcer, the consumption of spicy food,smoking,drinking,HP infection,unhealthy diets,mood disorders and the toil are important relevant etiologic factors,which induced gastric ulcer. In accordance with traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic criteria of toxin-heat accumulated in the stomash,100 patients with active gastric ulcer has 81 cases,accounting for 81%of all patients.2.jiedu-xiaoyong chongji could rapidly alleviate the patients' symptoms in the treatment group;the Clinical healing rates of TCM Syndrome and the total effective rate were 73.3%,96.7%,respectively.While the Clinical healing rates was 36.7%, the total effective rate was 70.0%.The Clinical healing rate of TCM Syndrome and the total effective rate in treatment group were superior to the control group(P<0.05).Gastroscopy studies showed in the treatment group the clinical healing rate was 66.7%,ulcer healing rate was 83.3%,and the total effective rate was 96.7%;the clinical healing rate in the control group was 33.3%,ulcer healing rate was 51.6%,and the total effective rate was 70%.the treatment group with the clinical cure rate,ulcer healing rate,and the total efficiency is better than the control group(P<0.05).The Clinical healing rate of gastroscopy effect and the total effective rate in treatment group were superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The major etiologic factor of AGU was toxin-heat,toxin-heat accumulated in the stomash was the main Syndromes of TCM.2.jiedu-xiaoyong chongji would effectively cure active gastric ulcer,could promote active ulcer healing,and it, inhibiting to kill HP,was one of the effective drug of the treatment of AGU,and no adverse reactions were found in clinical observation.In summary,our reseach suggested that toxin-heat was the major etiologic factor of AGU,toxin-heat accumulated in the stomash was the main Syndromes of TCM;jiedu-xiaoyong chongjiwas a effective drug of the treatment of AGU.
