Research Of OCT Measurement The Angle Between The Optic Disc And Macula Lutea Of The Health Human Eyes

PurposeThis experimental use of optical coherence tomography(OCT) measuring the angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes of the different age groups and analysising its relations with eyes of other,age,sex.MethodsRandomly selected ophthalmology clinic healthy volunteers 198 of the fourth subsidiary of China Medical University Hospital,aged from 12 to 60 years old,to inspect 396 normal eyes.18-year-old and 40-year-old as the border is divided into three different age groups.18-year-old were attributed to the age of 18 years age group and 40-year-old were attributed to 40-year-old age group.Each group inspect 66 and 132 normal eyes.The use of stratus optical coherence tomography(OCT) 3.0 of Germany carl zeiss company's inspect the angle between the optic disc and macula lutea,use "Fast Macular"mode scanning,select signal strength≥5,eye fundus pictures are clear, and no data in column"scanned image is too high,scanned image is too low,image defects",such as evaluation of the image.The use of optical coherence tomography uptake three pieces eye fundus image when the first is situated and eye is situated to measure the angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes of the different age groups.The degree of angle between the optic disc and macula lutea was obtained by software ImageJ of American Medical.All data were used SPSS for windows(16) software package the establishment of databases,the standard test of significance to P＜0.05 for statistical significance.Results(1) The angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes is 0.56-14.29 degrees.(2)The average angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes is 7.35±2.15 degrees.(3) The angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes right eye average is 7.43±2.46 degrees,left eye average is 7.27±2.45 degrees,With paired samples T test,if p＞0.05,there was no significant difference.(4) 12-18-year-old age group in the angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes is 7.36±2.09 degrees,19-40-year-old age group is 7.26±2.33 degrees:41-60-year-old age group is 7.43±2.05 degrees,with one-way anove if p＞0.05,there was no significant difference.(5) The angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes male average is 7.41±2.21 degrees,female average is 7.28±2.10 degrees,with independent samples T test,if p＞0.05,there was no significant difference.ConclusionUse of optical coherence tomography in normal healthy people fundus scan may the objective survey the optic disc and macula lutea of the human eyes,measurements of the optic disc-macular angle with age,sex,eye of otherunrelated:our results showed the importance of building a angle between the optic disc and macula lutea of the health human eyes normative database based on chinese population the early diagnosis of rotating strabismus.
