Objective:To study the resistant function of Huajiyiganjian(HJYGJ)to the transplanted hepatocarcinoma 22(H22),influence to the expression of MMP-2,BFGF and TIMP-2,and explore the possible mechanism of tumor resistance.Methods:Using immunohistochemistry staining method and image patt- ern analysis in the tumor tissues of 53mice examined and quantitied the expression of MMP-2,BFGF and TIMP-2.Results:1.The experiment of resistance to growth of primary hepatic carcinoma of mice of HJYGJ shows:the weight of tumor in each treated group was much less than normal saline control group respectively (P< 0.05). Among these, combined treatment group was better the others. 2.Expression of MMP-2 and BFGF in hepatoma cell line H22 through immuno- histo- chemistry staining 4 groups have positive express -ion. One-way ANOVA show that the expression MMP-2 and BFGF in each treated group was much lower than the control group(P<0.05)。Among the total,the effective of combined treatment group was more conspicuous than the single group. 3.Expression of TIMP-2 in hepatoma cell line H22 through immuno- histo- chemistry staining 4 groups have positive expression. One-way ANOVA show that the expression of TIMP-2 in each treated group is increased and apparently different from that of control group(P<0.05). while,the effective of combined treatment group was more conspicuous than the single group.Conclusions:1.HJYGJ can obviously resists the generation of the transp- lanted hepatocarcinoma22(H22).2.HJYGJ can resists the expression of the MMP-2 and BFGF,simultaneously,up-regulation the expression of the TIMP-2.It indicatede that HJYGJ possiblely have the effect on resistsing the invasion and metastasize of hepatoma cell line H22 of mice.
