Tilia Mongolica Maxim.is one of the members of Tiliaceae family. Its bark, leave and flower can be used for treatment of many kinds of diseases. Recently,it was reported that Tilia Mongolica inhibiting effect has been showed on Anoplophora glabripennis. In order to investigate biological active components of the tilia mongolica bark,we carried a preliminary study on the constituents of the tilia mongolica bark. The systematic preliminary tests have been done by the methods of the qualitative tests,12 categories of chemical constituents possibly existed in the bark were detected and analysed. The total Flavonoids in the bark of the tilia mongolica was determined by Ultraviolet-visible Spectrophotometry.Through the contents of total flavonoids to L9(34) orthogonal choice test, the optimal conditions for extraction is obtained as follows:ratio of solvent(95%ethanol) to barks,10ml:1g, each time for three hours and extraction two times. The six compounds have been isolated and purified by utilizing silica gel column chromatography,Polyamide column chromatography, preparative TLC and recrystallization techniques. The structures of compounds have been identified by IR,1HNMR,13CNMR,and 2D NMR(DEPT,HSQC,HMBC and 1H-1HCOSY) and have been compared to datas and literatures. They are Nondecanoic acid(Ⅰ),β-Amyrin(Ⅱ),stigmastan-3,6-dione(Ⅲ),Taraxerol(Ⅳ),Daucostero(Ⅴ) respectively.Among them,Compound(Ⅲ) was isolated from the genus for the first time. The structure of compound(Ⅵ) need to be studied furthermore.
