| Objectives: To probe into the relationship between the AGE-RAGE system and blood stasis syndrome in early T2DM ,and the role of the diabetic microangiopathy in the occurrence and development.Methods: 140 cases of patients with T2DM from March to September in 2008. By referring to the DM branch in Chinese Association of TCM, differentiate the above 140 cases into two groups, with 106in BSS group and 34 in non-BSS group. Demographic data were collected, observate the glucose and lipid metabolism indicators,inflammation indicator(hs-CRP), carboxymethyl-lysine (CML) and soluble advanced glycation end products receptor (sRAGE). Hs-CRP, CML and sRAGE were detected using ELISA method, hs-CRP, sRAGE kit of R & D by U.S. companies, CML kit Uscnlife by the Sino-US joint venture company.Results:â‘ The level of HDL-C in BSS group was significantly lower than non-BSS group ,with P<0.01, while the level of U-Malb and CML in the former group are higher than the latter.(P<0.01),and the U-Malb were > 30mg/l.â‘¡Through linear correlation analysis on the level of CML and sRAGE with all the cases , it showed that there was a significantly positive correlation between CML and U-Malb(r=0.17,p<0.05), as well as between sRAGE and TC(r=0.18,p<0.05) ,while there was negative correlation between We and ln(hs-CRP) (r=-0.22,p<0.05;r=-0.18,p<0.05)â‘¢Through linear correlation analysis among the 34 cases , CML was positively correlated with DBP and sRAGE(r=0.36,p<0.05;r=0.35,p<0.05);while sRAGE was negatively correlated with SBP (r=-0.36,p<0.05), and positively correlated with HDL-C(r=0.35,p<0.05).Conclusions: 1. The level of U-Malb and CML in the BSS group were significantly higher than non-BSS group , it suggested that U-Malb and CML may be an objective indicator of blood stasis. 2. With CML and U-Malb positively correlated in early T2DM patients, it suggested that advanced glycation end products and its interaction may lead to early diabetic vascular disease and to participate in the development of diabetic nephropathy occurred in one of the mechanisms, thereby CML for the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy have a predictive value. 3. Having negative correlation to CRP , SRAGE in the serum could be indicated as a protective factor with the possible mechanism of delaying the body's inflammatory response. 4. The serum CML in the BSS group had positive correlation to the sRAGE, which showed that with the CML increased, sRAGE could have a compensatory increase as a protective factor, furthermore delay the occurrence and development of microvascular diseases . |
