Background: According to the modern medicine , the islet β -cell function is the main index which reflects the condition of type 2 diabetes mellitus and the islet β -cell dysfunction is the basic characteristic of type 2 diabetes mellitus.There is always the insulin secretion flaw at the different stages of type 2 diabetes mellitus , including the absolute insufficient and the relative insufficiency 。 The blood stasis is the important cause and pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus 。 we found that certain relevance was existenced between Chinese medicine blood stasis syndrome and the islet 3 -cell dysfunction in clinical practice。Purpose: To study the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus of TCM blood stasis syndrome and islet β -cell function. , which provide a reference index for type 2 diabetes mellitus clinical differentiation, and provides a instruction for prevention and cure to type 2 diabetes mellitus and improvement to islet β cell function, by Chinese medicine .Material and method: According to the WHO diagnosis standard and the Chinese medicine differentiational standard, 60 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were chosed as research objects。 Then according to 2002 "Chinese native medicine New Medicine Clinical Research Guiding principle" blood stasis card diagnosis standard", 60 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were divided into TCM blood stasis syndrome group and non- blood stasis syndrome group, including 35 males, 27 females age...
