Chinese Medicine Syndrome Characteristic Research In Metabolic Syndrome

【Objective】:To study and research the connection of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndromes and syndromes of Metabolic Syndrome(MS) in HOMA-IR and other Chemistry indexs.To provid basis of diagnose for the objectivisation of MS' TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs,and to provid theory basic for the therapy of MS in the method of combining TCM with Western medicine by probing the pathogenesis of MS.【Methods】:According to the Clinical Diagnosis Criteria of MS enacted by International Diabetes Federation(IDF) and the TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs criteria,130 MS patients(male66,female64)were collected in this study.The group of "Tanyuzue" had 34 cases,"Tanyuhujie" had 16 cases,"Yinxuresheng" had 25 cases and "Qiyinliangxu" had 55 cases.(1)Determine the waist circumference,Body Press and weight in fasting.(2)Survey and evaluate the level of the bloodsugar,insulin,triglyeride(TG),high density lipoprotein-cholesterin(HDL-C),uric acid and the TNF-a in fasting.(3)Compute the HOMA-IR:(HOMA-IR)=FPG×FINS/22.5.【Result】:There was a significant difference in Insulin Resistance(IR) index of the groups of common TCM syndromes of MS(P＜0.05),and the degree of insulin resistance was group-"Qiyinliangxu"＞group-"Yinxuneire"＞group-"Tanyuhujie"＞group-"Tanzhuozue".There was a significant difference in every group(P＜0.05).【Conclusion】:1.The age distribution of 130 patients prompt that these MS patients' clinical symptoms of every group were impersonated following the increase of their age.2.IR go hand in hand with TCM syndrome differentiation classification of MS.3.The common TCM syndromes of MS give expression to the changes of pathophysiology in different phases of this sick.According to the levels of IR different in the TCM syndromes,we believe that the HOMA-IR was an important reference index of the TCM syndrome of MS.4."Tanzhuo" and "Yuxue" were the important etiological factors and pathogical productions in IR.
