Objective: Discussed on the basis of the type2diabetes mellitus (T2DM) of metabolicsyndrome (MS) in patients with type TCM syndrome and relationship with objectivestandards, to conduct a retrospective analysis of TCM syndrome types and clinicalcorrelation between objective measurements, provide a reference for clinical syndromedifferentiation type index, provides the direction and basis for the clinical diagnosis andtreatment. Methods: In patients with diabetes by the tongue and pulse condition ofexamination, divided into four type selecting1group and healthy control group, record thegender, age, body mass index, diabetes duration, etc., waist hip ratio, body mass index iscalculated. And glucose (FPG), blood lipid (TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C), fastinginsulin (FINS), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), hypersensitive c-reactive protein (hs-CRP) related objective indicators, the comparison. Results: Compared with healthycontrols, and Yin deficiency group hotness BMI significantly decline, phlegm and bloodstasis type of pixu (spleen deficient) BMI increased significantly. Every syndrome typewith the increase of age and course of the disease, objective indicators is different, TG, TC,FPG, LDL-C, hs CRP, HbA1c indexes according to Yin deficiency heat sheng group <phlegm and blood stasis pixu (spleen deficient)<<both qi and Yin deficiency group andqi stagnation and blood stasis group of successive rise; These FINS, HDL-C levelaccording to Yin deficiency group <phlegm and blood stasis pixu (spleen deficient)hotness <both qi and Yin deficiency group and qi stagnation and blood stasis group ofsuccessive decrease. The individual has no statistical significance. Conclusion: Weight, lipid metabolic disturbance, insulin resistance and inflammatory reaction in the process ofthe occurrence and development of diabetes play an important role. On the basis of type2diabetes patients with the metabolic syndrome can be different from the objective index toreflect the degree of illness, from empirical process todeficiency syndrome. Tip in diabetes treatment and at the same time, in addition to monitoring blood sugar, and to keepa close watch on blood fat and BMI, FPG, FIN, the hs CRP, HOMA IR measures such as,objective evaluation of patients, and to reduce complications, improve patient’s quality oflife has important significance.
