This is first systematically study on essential oil of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim in Shandong Zibo, The chemical constituents of the volatile oil were analyzed by GC-MS.51 peaks were separated and 48 components were identified, which account for over 99.07% of total essential oil and terpenes terpene alcohols and terpene ketone account for 75.46%, including 3-cyclohexen-l-ol.4-methyl-l-(1-me thylethyl)(11.93%),beta. Phellandrene (9.99%),limonene (9.84%),1-(2,3-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-6-meyhylphenyl)ethanone (9.34%),piperitone (6.68%),beta. myrcene,(+)-3-carene (5.33%),linalool (4.43%),Trans-beta.-ocimene (3.6%),Sabinene (3.47%).Antibacterial activity of essential oil was was tested with method of plate doubling-dilution and oxford cup.The result demonstrate that e ssential oil had some inhibiti on bacterial and fungi species in the experiments. The sequence of antibac-terial activity as followed:Bacillus subtilis,Staphylococcus albus,Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Escherich-ia coli. This is first systematically study on chemical composition of Liparis nervosa (t-hunb) Lindl. In ChongQing Jiangjin, It was extract ethanol, isolated and purified by column chromatography, centrifugal TLC and preparative thin layerchromatography and the structures were determined with the help of spectroscopic studies.Four compounds have been isolated and identified. Four compounds:acetamide,1,3-linoleic acid glycerides, friedelin, trielaidin and four compounds have been isolated for the first time.
