ObjectiveThe effect of acupuncture on gastrointestinal disease is aboardly proved. Lots of clinical data supported that acupuncture is useful to promote gastrointestinal wriggle, improve gastrointestinal motility and regulate gastrointestinal function. After abdominal operation, the gastrointestinal function decreases and may be disorder. This is the main point to affect the recover of patient. The regulative factor of gastrointestinal motility include nervous factor and body fluid factor. Body fluid factor mainly points to gastrointestinal hormon. It achieves its effects through two ways:one acts on gastrointestinal smooth muslce cell receptor by incretion in blood circulation; the other is transmitter of gastrointestinal peptide nerves. This research studied the effect of acupuncture on gastrointestinal motility and gastrointestinal peptide after abdominal operation so as to discuss the mechanism of regulative effect of acupuncture on gastrointestinal motility.METHODSRats were randomly divided into three groups:acupuncture group, model group and blank group. Rats in acupuncture group and model group were given colon transection and anastomosis. Acupuncture group was given acupuncture treatment when came round after operation. The 3-Leg point in Jin'3-needle technique(Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Taichong) was used. Inserted the needle and do manipulation like lifting and thrusting, twirling and rotating 2-3 times every 5 minutes. The treatment lasted 15 minutes and was given once a day for 3 days. The model group and blank group were trapped into the same self-made fixator for 15min each day. Then rats were killed and intestinal propulsive rate was measured. The tissue of sinuses ventriculi and jejunum was taken to detect MLT.RESULT The intestinal propulsive rate of model group is greatly decreased compared to blank group(P<0.05), while that in acupuncture group is significantlu improved compared to the model group(P<0.05). The content of tissue MLT of model group is greatly decreased compared to blank group(P<0.05), while that in acupuncture group is significantlu improved compared to the model group(P<0.05). T There was no significant difference of seru GAS among the four groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSIONAcupuncture on 3-Leg point can help gastrointestinal mtility to recover. This may be related to the effect of acupuncture on regulating the content of tissue MLT, but not relatied to seru GAS.To the conclusion is enough to reply after three stitches in a holiday after the operation and the rats in sports. On its stomach power of regulation may be affected by local organizations of the stomach of implementation. still the standard.
