Objective Although the events of childhood lead poisoning have occurred throughout the world, more complex lead-zinc district of environmental pollution, threats to the children of mine occupational groups and the surrounding children's health. This experiment in the growing period of the combined exposure of rats and comprehensive nutrition intervention research to understand the variety of nutrients, cadmium, lead and zinc toxicity and population through nutritional interventions to improve awareness of self-protection, to protect the class people, especially children's health to provide the scientific theory.Methodsâ‘ select 186 children during growth and development stages in a lead-zinc smelter area as study group, select the mine 40km from the outside as a control group of 156 children, to children physical examination in the general situation(including: calcium deficiency, alopecia, anemia, easily cold), IQ measured (including: VIQ, PIQ and FIQ) and the academic evaluation and other surveys.â‘¡Select 36 weaned, Wistar rats, males and females in half, body weight (46-72) g, to lead acetate (1.3mg/kg.bw), zinc sulfate (150.4mg/kg.bw), cadmium chloride (4.4 mg/ kg.bw), administered by 1ml/100g.bw exposure, at the same time ferrous sulfate (119.1mg/kg.bw), calcium acetate (474mg/kg.bw), vitamin C (450mg/kg.bw), vitamin B2 (14mg/kg.bw) mixture after preparation of nutrition intervention, according to 1ml/100g.bw gavage, blood samples were measured copper, zinc, calcium, magnesium, iron, lead and cadmium, the results analysis. Rats were killed by cervical dislocation, organs collected and processed, production and immune pathology section, optical microscope observation.Resultsâ‘ Higher lead levels in hair of children, VIQ, PIQ and FIQ were lower than the control group, and statistically significant (P<0.05, P<0.01). Higher Pb, Cd, Zn, Ca levels in hair of children, and statistically significant (P<0.01).The statistical analysis shows that children's hair Lead level is negative correlation with study, but it is positive correlation with mother's profession.â‘¡Exposure in the exposed rats have increased body weight after one week, slow their growth was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05); exposure group, body weight gain in the intervention group were lower than the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05); exposure group, the intervention group rat spleen, liver weight was lower than the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.01, P<0.05); rat blood lead, zinc, cadmium content in the high exposure group in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Intervention group were blood lead, zinc, cadmium content is higher, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Intervention group than cadmium exposure group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); lead and zinc poisoning and intervention group was not statistically different, but the intervention group than the group exposed to a downward trend. Pathology results:rats exposed to liver cell edema and necrosis. Renal proximal tubule epithelial cells cloudy swelling, lumen narrowing. Intervention group had the same symptoms, but lighter than the exposure group; exposure group than those in spleen and testis volume in the control group slightly reduced the number of splenic corpuscle and smaller. Within the seminiferous tubules of spermatogenic cells and sperm count reduction. Spleen and testis volume in the intervention group compared with exposure group did not change significantly. Immunohistochemical results:P53 protein in various organs were negative; Bcl-2 and Bax protein in treated group and the intervention group, the expression of various organs, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05), but The positive rate of the exposure group was higher. Conclusion The environmental pollution caused by Lead-zinc mine of occupational population's health of the have adverse effects, Lead-zinc mine of lead pollution on children have adverse effects on IQ and health; zinc cadmium effects on animal weight change is the earlier onset of toxicity of the performance of the body. These results show that: zinc cadmium exposure can cause liver, kidney, spleen, testis morphology; exposure on the liver, kidney and Bcl-2 protein in liver, spleen and kidney Bax protein influential, comprehensive nutrition intervention heavy metal elements have a certain antagonism.
