Object:Approach analysis of the factors associated with effect affecting the post-operation of functional endoscopic sinus surgery. To direct treating efficacy of functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Methods:Analysis the 245 patients accepted functional endoscopic sinus surgery during January 2007-December 2008 in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital retrospectively. The factors comprised that if they used nasal decongestant preparation long time,if they had surgeried related chronic sinusitis, if they had allergic rhinitis or asthma,if they had systemic diseases,if they could insisting on combined tharepy after endoscopic sinus surgery. Curative effect were in accordance with the Haikou standard, mucous membrane were depended on Lund-Mackay system. The results were analysised by SPSS 15.0 statistical software. Results:During all the 245 patients,194 patients were cured well,42 patients were improved, so the total effective rate is 96.32%.There were 42 patients had complication.38 patients had nasal adhesion.2 patients had damage of lamina papyracea. 2 patients had perforation of nasal septum. The effect of I, II, III type were decreased progressively. But the effect of I type 3 stage, II type 2,3 stage and III type were worse (Personx2=11.371, P=0.001, P<0.05).The first class curing percents of mucous membrane were also decreased progressively among the types. From all the data, the effective rate of patients combined with using nasal decongestant preparation long time, Their epithelization time were not extended evidently(t= 1.707, P=0.0510,P> 0.05).The epithelization time of patients with surgeried related chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis or asthma were extended than other patients. The epithelization time of patients with systemic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune disorder, cryptorrhea diseases had no significant disparity t1=1.264,P1=0.381,P> 0.05, t2=0.412,P2=0.816,P >0.05, t3=0.033,P3=0.955,P> 0.05, t4=0.113,P4=0.551,P>0.05). The same to the patients with deflection of nasal septum accepted septoplasty. However, the patients who could insisting on combined tharepy after endoscopic sinus surgery had significant disparity compared with ones could not insisting on combined tharepy(ti=-3.160, P1=0.025, P<0.05; t2=-2.065, P2=0.012, P<0.05).Conclusions:From this text, many factors such as the diseases'clinical classification, surgeries related chronic sinusitis, using nasal decongestant preparation long time, and systematic tharepy after endoscopic sinus surgery could influence the curative effect of post-operation of functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Therefore, to improve the effect, completive history-taking before surgeries, exact clinical judgement and systematic tharepy after surgeries were very important factors.
