ObjectiveTo investigate the protective effects of Xuebijing injection on lipid peroxidation of rats with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.Methods30 FVB rats were injected Dichlorovos lmg/kg then randomly divided into two groups:The control group with Physiological Saline injected 5ml/kg/d. The treatment group was treated by Xuebijing injection injected 5ml/kg/d. The activity of Superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) were detected. The hepatic tissue was examined under light microscopies.ResultsCompared with the control group, the treatment group the activity of SOD was obviously decreased and the content of MDA was significantly increased. The histologic change of the liver tissue under light microscopies in the control group was more obvious than in the treatment group.ConclusionXuebijing injection can enhance the abilities of the rat with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning to pellate oxygen f ree radical and abate the injury caused by lipid peroxidation.
