Expression Of PTTG And Survivin In Human Brain Glioma And Their Relationship

Objective:To investigate expressions of PTTG and survivin in human brain glioma and to explore relationship between them.Methods:Expression of PTTG and survivin protein were detected by immunohistochemical method in 60 cases of glioma tissue, compared with that in 12 cases of normal brain tissue. The correlation between them was analyzed.Results:(1) The expression rates of PTTG and survivin in human brain glioma tissues were significantly higher than those in normal brain tissues. The protein expression of PTTG and survivin increased with the increasing of pathological grade of glioma, there were significantly difference between the groups(P<0.05).(2) There was a significantly positive correlation between the expression of PTTG and survivin protein(r=0.411,P<0.05).Conclusion:The abnormal expressions of PTTG and survivin are significantly correlated with human brain glioma. The occurrence and development of human brain glioma may be related with PTTG and survivin.
