Structure Change Of Macular Arch In Diabetic Retinopathy

ObjectiveTo evaluate the structure change of arteriole, venule and capillary in diabetic retinopathy and discuss its effect of monitoring on DR.MethodsReview 80 cases with FFA and OCT and analyze destruction degree of macular arch. Heidelberger HRA2 measuring software was used to analyze the diameter of retinal vessel and macular arch.ResultsThe changes of macular arch morphology divided into 3 patterns:enlargement (10 cases) or contraction (36 cases) of arch diameter and destroyed completely (22 cases). Contraction pattern included 6 DR III cases and 4 DR IV cases; enlargement pattern included 28 DR III cases and 8 DR IV cases; Completely destroyed pattern included 4 DR III cases and 22 DR IV cases.ConclusionsThe changes of macular arch morphology includes enlargement, contraction and completely destroyed patterns.
