Qi Ming Particles On The Treatment Of Diabetic Retinopathy, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography Evaluation

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of the Qi Ming granule for treatment of diabatic retinopathy (DR) by fundus fluorescein angiography, and to approach the mechanism of Chinese medicine with functions of supplementing qi and nourishing yin, benefiting liver and kidney, promoting blood circulation to remove meridian obstruction.Methods: Patients suffering from type 2 DR were enrolled and diagnosised on the standard of-international classification of diabetic retinopathy scale, in multicenter randomized, controlled clinical trial study. To evaluate the efficacy of the Qi Ming granule versus Doxium (calcium dobesilate) by the major index of FFA and effective index of fundus photography and traditional Chinese medicine symptom. In order to control deviation, we establish film reading center and dynamic long range data management system.Results 1.Qi Ming granule and Doxium both could shorten arteriovenous retinal circulation time, and Qi Ming granule also could decrease the arm-retinal circulation time after 3 months treatment. 2.Qi Ming granule and Doxium both could reduce microaneurysm (P<0.01) , and they have same effction. There was no statistically significouldt between two groups.3. Qi Ming granule and Doxium both could lessen retinal capillary vessel leakage (P<0.01) , and they have same effction. 4. .Qi Ming granule and Doxium both could decrease leakage in retinal macular ,Qi Ming granule statistically superior to Doxium. (p<0.05). 5. Qi Ming granule and Doxium both could decrease the score difference of syndrome in TCM, and Qi Ming granule is statistically superior to Doxium.Conclusion: Qi Ming granule could promote minicirculation in ocular region and improve hemadynamics. Qi Ming granule could decreased microaneurysm damage, and improve blood-retinal barrier, degrade vasopermeability, decrease capillary vessel leakage. And lessen leakage in macula lutea, reduce macular oedema. Qi Ming granule could improve syndrome in TCM , Indicate multitarget superiority of the traditional Chinese medicine in treatment.
