Effect Of Acupuncture In The Patient Of Hemiplegia After Cerebral Infarction

Objective:To investigate the difference of clinical effect in the patients of cerebral infarction acupuncture between paralyzed body and two sides body. It can guide future clinical treatment.Methods:Taking the patients of hemiplegia after cerebral infarction in the period of recovery into two sets:A was acupuncture in paralyzed side body and B was acupuncture in bilateral limbs. The patients of two groups were recorded the measurements of FMA,MBI and NSE before and after course of treatment. Compared the change of FMA,MBI and NSE on the affected side after treatment at last.Results:1. The effect astimate of prether & post-therapy:FMA, the scores of A was 25.20±5.08 and 46.10±6.29, the scores of B was 25.60±6.36 and 52.80±7.31 respectively. There was a significant difference in FMA scores before and after therapy (P=0.000<0.01). It says that the physical function of two groups had improved obviously after cupping treatment.MBI, the scores of A was 23.00±7.86 and 44.00±5.63,the scores of B was18.50±8.83 and 57.00±3.00 respectively. There was a significant difference in MBI scores before and after therapy (P=0.000<0.01). It says that the daily activity ability of two groups had improved obviously after cupping treatment.2. The effect comparison in the different parts of acupuncture between paralyzed body and two sides body:FMA, the scores of A was 20.90±5.39 and B was 27.20±4.98 respectively. The statistic difference existed in FMA scores between two sets (P=0.018<0.05). It says that cupping bilateral limbs group in physical function improvement is better than paralyzed side. MBI, the scores of A was 21.50±5.98 and B was 38.05±3.95 respectively. The statistic difference existed in MBI scores between two sets (P=0.001<0.05). It says that cupping bilateral limbs group in daily activity ability improvement is better than paralyzed side.3. NSE, Serum concentrations of A was 20.66±4.12 and 19.97±3.83,the serum concentrations of 12.08±3.34 and 10.13±2.25 respectively, There was no difference in NSE serum before therapy (P=0.003<0.05). There was a significant difference in NSE serum concentrations after therapy (P=0.003<0.05). It says that NSE serum concentrations of two groups decreased but the group of B dropped more apparent.Conclusion:Both A and B therapy could improve the motor function of the patients effectively in the period of recovery after cerebral infarction, but the effect is not equal. There is a significant raise in the set of acupuncture in bilateral limbs. Two groups of serum NSE concentration decreased, but the group of B dropped more apparent. Inform us to pay attention to studies of acupuncture in bilateral limbs. It tips us that cupping treatment in the health side body is very important and cupping bilateral body is better than cupping paralyzed side body.
