Porous Tantalum Screw Insertion And Core Depression And Autoplasty Of Fibula Grafting In Treating Ficat Stage â…¡ Necrosis Of The Femoral Head

Purpose of the study:To compare the clinical effect between Porous tantalum screw insertion and core depression and autoplasty of fibula grafting in treating Ficat stageâ…¡necrosis of the femoral head.Methods:12 cases of them undergone porous tantalum screw insertion. The others were received core depression and autoplasty of fibula grafting. The duration of follow-up was 8-32monthsResults:The tantalum screw insertion group has a less blood loss and operation time.There was one collapse of the femoral head in the group treated by Porous tantalum screw insertion and eleven collapses in the group treated by core depression and autoplasty of fibula grafting. The post-operation Harris score was 91.4 and 80.7.p<0.05.Conclusion:Comparing with the core depression and autoplasty of fibula grafting, the Porous tantalum screw insertion showed satisfactory results in treating Ficat stageâ…¡necrosis of the femoral head.
