Objective:To study the correlation of the incidence between the patients with type 2 diabetes who suffer from diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy in order to provide early diagnosis. Methods:Selecting 117 patients with type 2 diabetes who were randomly assigned into four groups based on the presence or absence of diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy, and then statistically analyzing the correlation of the morbidity of both complications. Observing general patient data and laboratory examinations of four groups to analyze whether there have differences among four groups. Results:There has prominent difference in alternation of correlation test of enumeration data among four groups (P<0.01). There has no difference in the related risk factors between the group with only diabetic nephropathy and that with only diabetic retinopathy. These differences were statistically significant. The positive rate of urinaryα1-microglobulin, urinaryβ2-microglobulin and combining test of three laboratory examinations. is higher than the urinary albumin excretion rate, of which the highest positive rate of detection is the combined one. Conclusion:There has a certain correlation of the incidence between the patients with type 2 diabetes who suffer from diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy. Each of urinary albumin/creatinine, urinaryα1-microglobulin and urinaryβ2-microglobulin can be the early index of diagnosis The combing test is superior to the single one. To some extent, it gives us the evidences for the early clinical diagnosis and treatment.
