Research On Treating Chronic Asthma (the Type Of Deficiency Of Lung Qi) With Herbals Combining Point Past

Objective:To estimate the Validity and Security of using Point Pasting with San Ziyangqin Soup by observing the effect of it on treating chronic Asthma (the type of Deficiency of Lung Qi),and to lay a foundation for later clinical application of Point Pasting on treating chronic Asthma.Methods:Analyse Western Medicine and TCM materials on treating Asthma with Chinense herbals and Point Pasting, explore the Mechanism of it, and lead observation of the effect.60 cases exactly conformed to the diagnostic code of mild or moderate degree chronic Asthma were randomly devided into two groups:the therapeutic group and the control group, between which there was no significant differences on the total condition, course of disease and the diseased level. The patients in the therapeutic group were treated with Yifei Capsule and Point Pasting with Sanziyangqin Soup four weeks on the basic of routine treatment with 4 weeks in each course. Contrast the recovery of the syndromes and Lung Function, then make statistical analysis.Results:1. There is statistical significance according to the results after a course of treatment. The CBR of the therapeutic group is higher than the control group (93.33%>90.00%).The index in both group such as the recovery of syndromes, the lung function(FEVl, FEV1%), the EOS and the IgE content were also compared before and after treatment, and there is statistical significance. One patient had harmful response during treatment, the method got level one in Safety Evaluation.Conclusion:l.The method of using Herbals combining Point Pasting will help the development of treating chronic Asthma.2. It could ease symptoms and syndroms of chronic Asthma to use Herbals and Point Pasting combining Western medical therapies, which has positive effect, high safety and is worth of spreading.
