Objective Acute urinary retention (AUR) of post-Stapled-hemorrhoidectomy is one of the most common complications, and hemorrhoids is clinically one of the most common diseases, so, it is a concern that what to do to prevent and resolve it following closely by erery clinical of anarectal. This study was designed to evaluate the clinical effect of treating post-hemorrhoids-operation urinary retention by acupoint-injection and to explore its treatment mechanism so as to enrich means and methods of treatment for acute urinary retention of post-Stapled-hemorrhoidectomy and to provide a simple, safe and effective treatment method.Method According to diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of this study,120 cases were chosen and were randomly divided into four groups under the ratio of 1:1, which were named A, B, C, Dgroup. The group A were treated by acupuncture with electrical stimulation. The pointsST36 and SP6 of both sides were selected. Group B:The Compound Danshen Injections was injected on the bottom. Group C:The points ST36 and SP6 were selected by acupoint-injection with Compound Danshen Injections.Group D:The methods and points were same as Group C,but with Neostigmine Methylsulfate Injection. Voiding rates and of patients in four groups, the side-effects in Group C and D were collected. This datas are to set up a data and statistical software SPSS17.0 was used for statistical analysis. Results All 120 cases in this study completed their treatment. Pre-treatment information of patients in four groups were compared and the difference had no statistical significance (P> 0.05), suggesting that the four groups were comparable before the treatment. (1) voiding rate of Group C is compared with Group A's and Group B's has a significant difference by statistical (P<0. 05), it means Group's method is better than Group A' s and Group B' s. (2) The voiding rate of the Group C and Group D after treatment were compared, there was no significant difference by statistically (P>0.05); (3)The results suggest that the method for treating post-Stapled-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention by acupoint-injection on ST36 and SP6 with Compound Danshen Injections is clinically effective. Conclusion The method for treating post-Stapled-hemorrhoidectomy urinary retention by acupoint-injection on ST36 and SP6 with Compound Danshen Injections is clinically effective. It can help promote urination, reduces the rate of catheterization and improves the quality of life for patients who receive Stapled-hemorrhoidectomy. No significant side effects were detected, therefore, it is a simple, economic, safe and effective treatment method and its clinical application should be promoted.
