[Objective]To observe the echo image change under ultrasound as well as necrotic degree of 2.5% sodium hydroxide and 10% dilute sulfuric acid which injected in normal rabbit liver. And then compare the effect with that of percutaneous ethanol injection.[Methods]Twenty-seven rabbits were radomly divided into 3 groups with 9 rabbits in each group. Group A received sodium hydroxide solution inection at concentration of 2.5%. Group B received dilute sulfuric aicd injection at concent ration of 10%. Group C received anhydrous alcohol injection (Control group). Then the nine rabbits in each group were further divided into subgroup a, b and c at random with 3 rabbits in each subgroup. Subgroup a, b and c received injection doses at 0.5ml,1.0ml and 1.5ml respecti-vely. The animals after anesthesia, doses of the reagents was scheduled to inject inside liver in ultrasound-guided. Each rabbit received in jection just one time. Ultrasound injection process and injection observing all within 15 minutes after the injection site ultrasound images of change. Seven days later rabbit were executed, observed intra-abdominal liver surface whether adhesion, and have ascites. Before rabbits were executed, injection site were observed under in ultrasound. Prior to the death and on the seventh day before the ear vein were taken, detected biochemical flanges, compared with before, kidney function changes reflect. Removed liver, measured necrosis range of diameter line, the calculation of the necrotic volume. Took necrosis parts as pathological examination. The result were analyzed by SPSS13.0. According to the pathologic result injection preparations role whether completely the liver tissue necrosis, scope and its shape change, whether limited spill damage liver whether injections and abdominal viscera, coating without change of liver kidney.ultrasonic whether can monitor the scope of injections to make five rating the scoring criteria.[Results]2.5% sodium hydroxide solution to inject, injection site of liver tissue injection is slightly hyperechoic moment, then into low echo or no echo and normal liver tissue aroundborder clear, ultrasound and general specimens visible intrahepatic inject area are ovoid shape or type of 10% of dilute sulphuric acid injection, echogenicity, pinpoint place irregular to peripheral parenchymal extensions, cannot distinguish function area and normal liver tissue, Seven days later rabbit were executed, injection in roughly the specimen observation liver function scope is not limited, irregularshape. Anhydrous alcohol injection, echogenicity, and pinpoint place along the needle way scope move up, can't distinguish function area and normal liver tissue,7 days general specimens intrahepatic inject area relatively limited but form irregular, and normal tissue boundary owe qing. The statistical think 2.5% sodium hydroxide,10% dilute sulphuric acid and anhydrous alcohol three kinds of injection necrosis with significant differences between the range. And three groups dose compared also have between significant differences. Through the scoring criteria scoring draw A group of three doses on average every rabbit to points and 8.8 points, group B three doses every rabbit scoring average 6.4 points, group A and B is obviously higher than the average score of group C each rabbit scored an average of 5.4 points.[Conclusions]1. The necrosis was more thorough and localized with sodium hydroxide solution of 2.5% and dilute sulfuric aicd of 10% injection in comparison with ethanol injection. They may be an ideal intratum in- jection agent for the treatment of cancer.2. As injection dosage of 2.5% sodium hydroxide solution,10% dilute sulfuric acid and ethanol increase, extent of necrosis in liver increase.
