ObjectivesThe main purpose of the study is to observe the clinical effect of induction ovulation treatment of Luteinized Unruptured Follicle Syndrome with of Bo-shi Ventro-acupuncture. Observe its validity and the security, and to explore its possible mechanism, in order to explore a safe, non-invasive, effective and comfortable method for the treatment of LUFS.MethodsThe study used the randomized controlled trial. The 50 out-patients with LUFS were observerd in department of gynecology in Guangdong TCM (traditionary Chinese medieine) Hospital from March,2009 to March,2011. According to randomized table divide the patients to the trial group with Ventro-acupun-cture of Bo-shi and control group with HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), the treatment consisits 3 menstrual cycle. Trans-vaginal color Doppler ultrasound was adopted to monitor follicle rupture and the ovarian artery blood flow resistance index (RI),pulsatility index and systolic to diastolic ratio(S/D). And the occurrence of adverse reaction was recorded.Result1.The trial group of 23 cases,67 treatment cycles,46 normal ovulation cycle, ovulation rate was 68.78%. The control group of 21 cases,62 treat-ment cycles,29 normal ovulation cycle, ovulation rate was 46.8%. The ovulation rate of trial acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.01).5 patients in the trial group achieved pregnancy and the pregnancy rate was 21.7%.2 patients in the control group achieved pregnancy and the pre- gnancy rate was 9.5%, there is no difference of the pregnaney rate (P>0.05). 2. The level of R1,PI and S/D in the trial group after treatment were significantly lower than that before treatment (P<0.01), compared with the control group there is a significant differenee (P<0.01).Conclusion1. Ventro-acupuncture of Bo-shi could be an effective therapeutics treating LUFS, the effective mechanism may be due to the improvement the level of the ovarian local micro-circulation.2. Ventro-acupuncture of Bo-shi is effective and safe. So we could conclude that it can be used extensively as an effective therapeuties of LUFS.
