Clinical Observations On The Treatment Of Cervical Vertigo By Shenmai Injection And Compound Danshen Injection

ObjectiveCervical vertigo is one of the most common syndromes of outpatients and emergency patients, for it's high incidence and difficulty in diagnosis and treatment, most patients are suffering a lot from the serious affect to their livelihood and work. This study was designed to observe the treatment efficacy of cervical vertigo of ShenMai injection combined with Compound DanShen injection by comparing with the control group, and acquire scientific data though this program, in order to serch better methods of the treatment of cervical vertigo in Traditional Chinese Medicine,which are more effective and more convenient.MethodsCollect 60 patients who meet the diagnostic criteria and the inclusion criteria of cervical vertigo from July 2010 to April 2011 in Zhongshan TCM Hospital emergency department, simple randomly divide into control group (30 cases) and treatment group (30 cases), and Observe the treatment effect after 7days by given the appropriate treatment. By refer to Cervical Vertigo Symptoms and Functional Assessment Scale which is developed by Professor Wang Chuhuai and Professor Zhuotai Hong, observe the changes in circumstances of Dizziness(including the degree of vertigo, frequency, duration),Neck pain,Headache,Daily life and work, Calculate the Integral of each observation points and total points, then compare the difference of the Integral between two groups by statistics method.Result(1) There was a notable statistical significance on Dizziness, on Neck pain, on Headache, on Daily life and work, and on general condition between before and after treatment in observer group (P<0.01).(2) There was a notable statistical significance on Dizziness, on Neck pain, on Headache, on Daily life and work, and on general condition between before and after treatment in control group (P<0.01).(3) There was a notable statistical significance on Dizzinessand on general condition between observer group and control group(P<0.05), but no notable statistical significance on Dizziness, on Neck pain, on Headache, on Daily life and work (P>0.05)Conclusion(1) ShenMai injection combined with Compound DanShen injection can distinctly improve the symptoms of cervical vertigo, and improve the condition of cervical vertigo.(2) ShenMai injection combined with Compound DanShen injection and Betahistine Hydrochloride and Sodium Chloride Injection can both get the effect for cervical vertigo, can both relieve the symptoms of Dizziness,Neck pain,Headache,Daily life and work, there is lillte difference on relieving the symptoms of Neck pain,Headache,Daily life and work, but ShenMai injection combined with Compound DanShen injection can get much more effects on relieving the symptoms of Dizziness and the general condition.
