Rhodendron davuricum L.belongs to Ericaceae, being inledum, which is rich in Daxinganling area of China. Enormous resources of Rhodendron davuricum L. gave a strongly support for its research and the development in the domain of traditional Chinese medicine. In this paper,RP-HPLC method was used to detect the content of five kinds of flavonoids compounds, which were extracted from lamina of Rhodendron dauvricum L.in about ten different areas with variant weather. Through analysing the total content of five kinds of flavonoids compounds, we could evaluated resource of Rhodendron davuricum L.The results were as followed:1. Ultrasonic wave method with advantages of saving time, efficient, energy conservation and free of contamination gave a preferable result in extraction of five kinds of flavonoids compounds in lamina of Rhodendron davuricum L.2. It is necessary that quality control and assess was done in different ingredients for the complicacy of the ingredient of traditional Chinese medicine. All Optical Wavelengthdetection is a preferable method of separation and detection of ingredients intraditional Chinese medicine, which reduces the difficulty of separation and detection of multicomponent and realizes the coseparation of active ingredients.Using this method, five kinds of flavonoids compounds can be quantified at the same time.3. There are a few documents about simultaneous detection of five kinds of flavonoids compounds in lamina of Rhododendron davuricum L. Through multiple experiments,Optical Wavelength&RP-HPLC method was established in use of detecting five kinds of flavonoids compounds in lamina of Rhododendron davuricum L.,which has a number ofbenefits, such as unsophisticated, strong specificity, high sensitivity, and well repeatability, and so on. In addition, the content of flavonoids compoundsof volatile oil in Rhododendron davuricum L. also can be detected by this method.4. Result of sample detection demonstrated asignificant differenceof content of flavonoids compounds in lamina of Rhododendron davuricum L. in different areas, so it is reasonable to make known the quality of Rhododendron davuricum L. by detecting ingredients of flavonoids compounds. In order to guarantee the quality of ingredients of flavonoids compounds, source of medicinal materials should be strictly control on stream.5.Repeatability of finger-print of alcohol extraction in lamina of Rhododendron davuricum L. stability of analytical method, and accuracy of instrument were up to scratch.Thecommonmode being established by ten samples of Rhododendron davuricum L. can be used in quality control of lamina of Rhododendron davuricum L. 6.The basic property of HPLC finger-print is from the result using integrity and ambiguity to judge the HPLC finger-print, mostly is the ambiguity property of HPLC finger-print. At the mean time, the HPLC should exclusive, stable and practical. For each chromatographic peak we do not require the clarity of the chemical structures of each component, also we do not need to quantify each component showing in the finger-print.,however, the finger-print of the same kind of medicine with different batch number should remain consistent.
