| Objective:Throughout testing the immunohistochemic expression of CDKN2A/p14ARF,MSX1 and CALCA in the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma tissue, this experiment summarized the relation of the clinical features between these proteins expression and the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.Secondly,to explore the protein's function during the development of the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.And then analyzed the different expressions between the para-tumor normal tissues and the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.Methods:Using immunohistochemistry (SP method)to find out the expression of CDKN2A/p14ARF, MSX1 and CALCA in the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma and para-tumor normal tissues.At the same time,using the statistics way to analyze.Results:(1) CDKN2A/p14ARF positive rate was 87.8%(36/41)in the expression of the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, which was 20 cases reach a degree above (++),accounting for 48.8%(20/41). the positive rate of para-tumor normal tissues75% (15/20).Comparing to the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma and para-tumor normal tissues of thyroid gland pathologically, the difference was high significance (P<0.05). (2)MSX1 in Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma and para-tumor normal tissues of the expression rate in equilibrium, in Thyroid Papillary Carcinoma37 of 38cases were positive, which rate was 97.4%, and 23 cases reach a degree above (++),which was 60.5% of the whole. The positive rate of para-tumor normal tissues were 100.0%(18/18). Comparing the data between Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma and para-tumor normal tissues of thyroid gland pathologically was not significance (P> 0.05). (3) CALCA positive rate was 95.2%(40/42)in the expression of the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, which was 29 cases reach a degree above (++),which is 69% of the whole. The positive rate of para-tumor normal tissues was 42.1%(8/19).Comparing to the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma and para-tumor normal tissues of thyroid gland pathologically, the difference was high significance (P<0.05). The expression of CDKN2A/p14ARF,MSX1,CALCA did not have obvious dependablity with the sex or age.Conclusions:(1)CDKN2A/p14ARF and CALCA have an extremely high expression rate in the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, which is remarkably valuable assistant diagnostic points in the pathological diagnosis text. (2)MSX1 is not appropriate for the distinguish between benign and malignant lesions. (3)CDKN2A/p14A expression degree are positively related to CALCA. (4)CDKN2A and CALCA in thyroid papillary carcinoma and normal thyroid carcinoma beside the expression of basic organization parallel, combining both detection can effectively distinguish benign and malignant thyroid disease, can be used as monitoring thyroid cancer occurrence, development and prognosis index. |
