Objective: To study and observe the clinical effect of Tong Mai Yi Xin tang decoction on Chronic Stable Angina and explore its mechanism of effect. Meathods: collecting 60 patients of chest numbness, qi deficiency and blood stasis suffering stable angina pectoris and randomly allocating them into two groups of treated group and control group with each group 30 patients. Conventional Western medical therapy was given to both groups. At the same time, the treatment group received Tong Mai Yi Xin tang. and then evaluating the clinical effect of this therapy after 4 weeks; Do the laboratory examination of ECG,blood routine, urinalysis, routine stool ,liver and renal function before and after treatment , and observed their medical indicators of clinical symptoms, angina scale scores, ECG, blood-lipoid, and clinical hemorheology, and then assessing the safety and curative effect of this therapy. Result: According to the clinical observation, the therapy of the treated group is superior to that of the control group in the aspect of improving TCM syndrome, promoting Quality of life, and reducing blood viscosity(P<0.01or P<0.05). Conclusion: Tong Mai Yi Xin tang on the basis of western medicine convention treatment can significantly improve patient's clinical syndrome, promote patient's the life quality ,regulate blood-lipoid, and reduce blood viscosity.
