Objective Through testing the PWV, ACE2 of coronary heart disease with heart failure(CHD with HF), we explore the correlation among the level of PWV and ACE2, traditional chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome of CHD with HF and the severity of heart failure, then provide the clinical basis for the study of integration of Traditional Medicine and Western Medicine.Method 85 CHD with HF patients were defined in clinic. Collecting the patients'general information, including symptom, sign, tongue, pulse and other clinical informations, then all the patients were divided into three clinical types of TCM syndrome: 28 cases of qi-deficiency; 37 cases of qi and yin -deficiency, 20 cases of yang-deficiency. According to the cardiac function standard of New York Heart Association. We devided patients into three groups: 31 patients were grade II, 32 patients were grade III, 22 patients were grade IV. 15 healthy voluteers were enrolled as normal control group. PWV was detected by using the VP-1000 Automatic Arteriosclerosis Measurement System. The level of ACE2 was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). We analyze these data with the statistics software SPSSl6.0. Results 1.High-density lipoprotein(HDL-C) in CHD with HF group is lower than that in the normal control group; Total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C), PWV and ACE2 are higher than that of the normal control group. What'S more, TC, TG, PWV and ACE2 have significant difference between two groups(P<0.05); 2.The expression of ACE2 in CHD with HF patients is higher than that of the normal control group; it is more obvious in moderate to severe heart failure; 3.PWV of CHD with HF group has obvious correlation with heart function classification, with the deterioration of cardiac function, the level of PWV increase; 4.The level of TC, TG, PWV and ACE2 in the three TCM Syndromes is higher than that of the normal control group, and there exists statistical differences between them, but there has not differences among the three groups; Conclusion 1.The level of PWV and ACE2 in CHD with HF group is significantly higher than that in the normal control group; 2.The level of PWV and ACE2 has obvious correlation with heart function classification; 3.The level of PWV and ACE2 has no significant differences among the three TCM syndrome groups.
