Objective: This study, based on theory of acupoint and viscera correlation, is to observe the immediate effect of the ST-T segment on EKG in the inferior and lateral heart wall of the coronary heart disease and to provide objective evidence for optimization of clinical acupoints selection.Method: According to the changes of EKG before treatment,60 coronary heart disease patients were divided intoâ…¡,â…¢,avF leads group and V4,V5,V6 leads group,30 cases in each group. The changes of the immediate effect of the ST-T segment of EKG of each group, were observed before and 10mins after the treatment in both groups. Results: The ST segments ofâ…¡,â…¢,avF leads group and V4,V5,V6 leads group had significant differences before and after treatment (P<0.05). There existed no significant differences after treatment between ST segment between the two groups (P>0.05). However, there was a trend for V4,V5,V6 leads group to be more effective than the other. The T waves in each group had significant differences before and after treatment (P<0.05). There existed no significant differences after treatment between T waves between the two groups (P>0.05). However, there was a trend for V4,V5,V6 leads group to be more effective than the other. Conclusion: Electroacupuncturing bilateral"neiguan"points could ameliorate the ischemia state in the cardiac muscles of both inferior and lateral heart wall of the angina pectoris in CHD, and there was a trend for the amelioration of cardiac muscles of inferior heart wall to be more effective than that of the lateral heart wall.
