Objective:To explore the influence of delivery outcome by severe preeclampsia complicated hypoproteinemia. Methods:We reviewed 147 inpatients in our hospital for severe pre-eclampsia during the period from January 2003 to December 2009. All patients were divided into 2 groups according to their serum albumin level.100 patients with a<30 g/L serum albumin level were defined as group hypoproteinemia and other 47 patients were in the group of normal serum protein level. Comparing the two groups with their general situation, complications, neonatal asphyxia and perinatal child mortality, neonatal birth weight differences. The data was analysised by statistical methord as t test, t'test, x2 test and linear correlation analysis.Result:1,Group hypoproteinemia were statistically significant compared with group nonhypoproteinemia in blood preesure, incidence of gestational age,the time of delivery and maternal complications(P<0.05).2,The neonatal asphyxia, neonatal and perinatal mortality of group hypoproteinemia was significantly higher than group nonhproteinemia (P <0.05); The newborn weight of Group hypoproteinmia was significantly lower than group nonhypoproteinemia(P <0.05).3,The level of plasma—albumin and 24-hour urine protein excretion showed a linear correlation(p<0.05).Conclution:Severe preeclampsia usually complicated with hypoproteinemia, which is likely resulted in poor outcomes of both mothers and perinatal babies. The therapeutic principle for severe preeclampsia is an intensive care and an accurate control of illness condition with a combined therapy including rectification of hypoproteinemia.Plasma protein, especially the albumin level posses a great clinical significance, and is suggested to be one of the routine monitoring indexes.
