Clinical Study Of Comparing Laparoscopic Operation And Traditional Operation On Quality Of Life After Operation Of Rectal Cancer

Objective:To compare the quality of life after operation between laparos copic and open rectal surgery from the following aspects:(1) sexual function (2) function of urinary system (3) anal functionMethods:Retrospective analysis of 100 cases of male rectal cancer patie nts under laparoscopic surgery and 100 cases under traditional open surgery are in Department of General Surgery in the affiliated hospital of medical colledge, Qingdao university from 2006 to 2008. Compare and analyze the similarities and differences of quality of life after operation between the t wo groups. evaluate sexual function of rectal carcinoma resection and pelvic autonomic nerv e preservation(PANP)by laparoscopy and the influence on sexual function and anal function. A nd evaluate the influence on quality of life after Laparoscopic rectal operation.Results:on the sexual function and urinary system function after one mo nth and one year.laparoscopic group are better than open group (p<0.05). T here are no significant differences between two groups on anal function.Conclusions:1.on the sexual function and urinary system function laparo scopic group are better than open group.2.There are no significant differen ces between two groups on anal function.3. Anastomotic position related with anal f unction. The control of defecation was normal in remaining anatomical anal. There wasn't rela tion between anastomotic position and ability to distinguish sensation. The sensation of defeca tion was normal if rectum of 224 cm above dentaleline was remained.4.the Laparoscopic re ctal operation can gets the same result of Traditional Operation but evidently increases the qu ality of life.
