Objective: Vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis (CSA) is a clinical common and frequently-occurring disease, high recurrence rate, the quality of life of patients is affected seriously. In recent years, seen at home and abroad reported that the incidence of increasing of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis year by year, and the increasingly younger age, particularly in white-collar-based may be related to unhealthy lifestyles and working environment, such as working for a long time bowing to his desk, computer over - and so on. Of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis in the cervical spine disease, while not the most serious one, but it is the most complex of pathogenesis of a type is attended by social and medical science domain more and more. In recent years, report of various treatment of the disease is increasing ,foreign treatment of this disease is to therapy-based or using closed therapy, severe cases, surgery or vascular interventional therapy; the main treatment of this disease reported in the literature are: the curing of traditional chinese medicine according Syndrome Differentiation, set prescription treatment, experienced treatment, a variety of techniques, acupuncture, massage, traction, physical therapy and comprehensive treatment. Are basically improving the vertebral artery blood flow, changing blood rheology and microcirculation to proceed in order to improve the brain blood supply to cure the disease ultimately. However, there continued efficacy is poor, long-term efficacy inaccurate, some treatments in clinical applications has been to numerous restrictions. According to the guidance of Chinese medicine theory, the topic is combined with modern medical research, through clinical observation in the form of clinical research of orthopedic patients in Chinese medicine hospital of Hebei Medical University. To research the clinical efficacy and safety by Tongdu Skill and Danhong injection techniques combined treatment of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis. Researching mechanism of effection of this treatment to innovate the method and improve the therapeutic effect. Methods: 90 cases of cervical vertebral artery disease were randomly divided into two groups of 45 cases, 45 cases of the control group. Treatment group is Tongdu Skill and Danhong injection techniques combined treatment , the control group is Danhong injection. Two weeks after treatment in both groups, by transcranial Doppler ultrasound analysis, blood rheology inspection and patients symptoms, signs mitigation, the two groups of patients before treatment, and later, group and group statistical analysis and clinical effects.Results:1 Transcranial Doppler ultrasound vascular analysisGroup comparison: (1) Two weeks after in the treatment group compared with those before treatment, group comparison of bilateral vertebral artery, and basilar artery peak systolic flow velocity (VS), resistance index (RI)than before treatment has improved ( P<0.01). (2) Control group, compared with those before treatment, two weeks after detection of bilateral vertebral artery, basilar artery peak systolic flow velocity (VS),resistance index (RI) is also a significant improvement than those before treatment (P<0.01 ).Between the two groups: two weeks later, the two groups of bilateral vertebral artery, and basilar artery peak systolic flow velocity (VS), resistance index (RI)than before treatment has improved ( P<0.01). treatment group, bilateral vertebral artery and the basilar artery peak systolic velocity (VS) than the control group had a marked increase in resistance index (RI) than the control group decreased significantly.2 HemorheologyGroup comparison: (1) Two weeks after in the treatment group compared with those before treatment, after treatment the whole blood viscosity, high shear, whole blood viscosity low-cut, whole blood viscosity reduction high shear, whole blood viscosity reduction and treatment of low-cut and plasma viscosity etc. , significantly lower before treatment, there is a significant difference (P<0.01). (2) Two weeks after in the control group compared with those before treatment, after treatment the whole blood viscosity, high shear, whole blood viscosity low-cut, whole blood viscosity reduction high shear, whole blood viscosity reduction and treatment of low-cut and plasma viscosity etc. , before treatment is also significantly reduced, there is also a significant difference (P<0.01).Between the two groups: After two weeks of their treatment the indicators of blood rheology of two groups there were significant differences (P<0.01), blood rheology of treatment group is significantly lower than the control group.3 Comparison of the score of symptomGroup comparison: (1) in the treatment group, scores of symptom decreased significantly compared with those before treatment after two weeks (P<0.01). (2) in the control group, scores of symptom is also significantly lower compared with those before treatment two weeks later (P<0.01).Between the two groups: after treatment of two weeks, score of symptom of the two groups had significant difference (P<0.01), score of symptom of treatment group significantly lower than the control group.4 Comparison of clinical efficacyIn the treatment group, 45 cases of clinical cure in 21 cases, accounting for 47%, effective in 15 cases, accounting for 33%, effective 8 cases, accounting for 18%, ineffective in 1 case, 2%, the total effective rate 97.78%; control group, 45 cases of and clinical cure in 15 cases, accounting for 33%, effective in 12 cases, accounting for 27%, effective in 11 cases, accounting for 24%, ineffective in 7 cases, accounting for 16% of the total effective rate 84.44%.Conclusion:1 Of cervical vertebral artery in patients with a prevalence of vertebral - basilar artery insufficiency as well as "sticky, thick, condensate, poly" in the changes of blood rheology. 2 Using Tongdu Skill and Danhong injection techniques combined treatment and using the simple application of Dan Hong injection both can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis, when comparing the two, the former effect is more pronounced. An improvement of vertebral basilar artery insufficiency, lower the blood of patients with"stick , concentrated, condensate, polyethylene", to the treatment of cervical vertebral artery disease purposes.
