Clinical Study Of Xiangpishengji Ointment On Treatment Of Traumatic Skin Defects

Objective:To evaluate the treatment results of traditional chinese medicine on treatment of traumatic skin defects, and find an effective and operable non-surgical treatment option for increasing the selections for clinical treatment.Methods: 46 cases with complete data of traumatic skin defects were selected (The treatment group had 26 cases, the control group had 20 cases).30 cases were male, and 16 were female. The average age was 37 years (15 to 73 years). Skin defect position: 10 cases in upper limb and 16 cases in lower limb of the treatment group; 6 cases in upper limb and 14 cases in lower limb of the control group. Skin defect area:â‘ defect area (2-5) cm:16 cases in the treatment group,12 cases in the control group.â‘¡defect area (5-9) cm:10 cases in the treatment group, 8 cases in the the control group. All the patients accepted medical treatment from the same medical group of our hospital. They were all treated by systemic antibiotic to prevent infection as based treatment.After the wounds were dealed with, the treatment group were covered with suitable xiangpishengji ointment produced by Jing Wan Hong pharmaceutical company of Tianjin Daren tang,with the thickness less than two millimeters, and then wrapped with sterile dressings.The control group were covered with the gauze of Rivanol solution, and then wrapped with sterile dressings.The wounds were usually changed medicine once 2 or 4 days until they were healed. If the wounds exudated too much or were polluted severely, it was necessary to change medicine once a day. Then we compared the healing time and healing quality (the color,hardness and tension of the skin) of the two groups, and analyzed statistically.Results: 1. comparing the healing time of the skin defects of different areas between the treatment group and the control group, there was significant difference(P<0.01)that the treatment group was better than the control group. 2. comparing the healing time of the skin defects of different degrees between the two groups, there was significant difference (P<0.01) that the treatment group was better than the control group. 3. Comparing the total healing time of the skin defects between the two groups,there was significant difference(P<0.01) that the treatment group was better than the control group. 4. Comparing the scores of skin quality between the two groups after the wounds were healed, containing the color,hardness and tension of the skin, there was significant difference(P<0.01)that the treatment group was obviously better than the control group.Conclusion: 1. Compared with the control group, the xiangpishengji ointment group significantly shortened the healing time of skin defects and improved curative effect. 2. Compared with the control group, the skin quality of the xiangpishengji ointment group was significantly better after the wounds were healed. There was little scar tissue.
