After the 20th century and 90 years, with in-depth elucidation to the pathogenesis and pathophysiology of acute pancreatitis, it becomes the main body that conservative medical treatment based on comprehensive treatment for the treatment of acute pancreatitis., particularly, the overall case-fatality rate of acute pancreatitis reduced to 1~2% due to the use of dialectical phases of governance on the combination of Chinese and Western medicine(TCM-WM) treatment. Chinese medicine can improve microcirculation the pancreas and intestinal, prevent bacterial translocation, control of systemic inflammatory response, and reduce the role of multiple organ dysfunction.
