SPSS software Package(version16.0) was used in processing the data, the statistical methods include:descriptive , Independ samples t-test,one-way ANOVA,Pears on inter-correlation,and multiple linear regression analysis.Results(1) The total mean score of the nurses was 281.91; the scores of truth- seeking, systematicity and self-confidence were less than 40, while the scores of degree of open-mindedness, analyticity, inquisitiveness and cognitive maturity were more than 40.(2) With the increasing of working years, education level and professional title, the total CCTDI-CV score and seven subscale scores of the staff increased too, The difference of critical thinking ability in different nurses was statistically significant ( P < 0. 05)。(3) With the enhancing of nurses'Network obtainment technology and self-learning ability, the total CCTDI-CV score and seven subscales scores of the staff increased too, The difference of critical thinking ability in different nurses was statistically significant ( P < 0. 05)。(4) With the job stress increasing, the total CCTDI-CV score and seven subscale scores of the staff decreased, the scores of those nurses with heavy job stress were 270.19, which less than 280. There were significant correlation with the scores of four subscales ( Professional and work, Working environment and resources, Patient care, Management and interpersonal relationship ) and the CCTDI-CV total score(P < 0. 05).(5) Results of correlation analysis showed that there were significant correlation with the scores of seven subscales ( Extrinsic rewards, Schedule, Coworkers, Interaction, Professional opportunities, Praise and recognition, Control and responsibility ) and the CCTDI-CV total scores (P < 0. 05)。Conclusion⑴More than half nurses in oncology department did not have positive disposition toward critical thinking, just a few nurses had a solid strength in the disposition toward critical thinking, their critical thinking ability were worse than those nurses in other wards.⑵With the strength of Network obtainment technology and self-learning ability, the critical thinking disposition of the nurses in oncology department improv- ed.⑶The critical thinking ability of the staff was strength with their education background and professional title increasing .⑷Although their job satisfaction was positive correlate, The critical thinking ability of the staff was negative correlate with their job stress .
