In the form of structural questionnaires and semi-structured interview, this paper, under the guidance of correlation study, aims to analyze whether there exists correlation between English learners'personality traits and their extracurricular English learning models base on the understanding of the learners' personality traits and their extracurricular English learning models. The study is mainly focused on four typical kinds of personality traits of college students in China and their corresponding extracurricular English learning models, and the learning effects the above bring forth. The conclusions manifest that there exists great difference in English learners'personality traits, among of which, four is proved to be related with their extracurricular English learning model and these four kinds of personality traits are greatly related with the achievements of their English study. There is significant difference in English speaking, reading and writing except in English comprehensive capability. The purpose of the study is to urge the teachers to take personality traits into consideration when cultivating students'extracurricular English learning models so as to better carry out individualized teaching and learning in and after class.
