This paper studies the following research questions: the grammatical interchange condition of"he"and"huo", the differences between"he"and"huo"after being interchanged, and the explanation of the interchanging. It can be found that"he"and"huo"can be used interchangeably when sentences with"he"and"huo"contain condition marker, negative marker, rhetorical marker, overall marker, contrastive marker, uncertain marker or continuous adverbial markers.Moreover, under certain circumstances, they can also be interchanged even in sentence without the above markers. However, These markers can be distinguished according to their strength level, which has been listed below (from stronger to weaker), markers of condition and markers of negationï¹¥markers of overallï¹¥markers for uncertain index and continuous adverbial markers and markers rhetoricalï¹¥unmarked.Although "he" and "huo" can be used interchangeably under certain circumstance. They still consist certain differences in the following aspects. First of all,the two parts connected by"he"possess an equal role, emphasizing on integrity with no stress distinction. On the contrary, the two parts connected by"huo"are unequal in that the latter part obtains the characteristics of explanation and complementary with stress f a l l i n g o n d i ffe r e n t l o c a t i o n a c c o r d i n g t o s p e a ke r's e mp h a s i s .From the reason of interchange, it can be considered that the sentence patterns of condition, negative patterns, rhetorical patterns, contrastive patterns or overall patterns, are the results of the semantics. The "he" and "huo" in the sentences of uncertain, continuous adverbial and partly non-featured pattern could be interchanged are the results of the two conjunction logical semantic coinciding each other. Generally speaking, the interchange of "he" and "huo" is not a dominant language phenomenon.
