Procrastination is to voluntarily delay an intended course of action despite expecting to be worse off for the delay. Procrastination is extremely prevalent,when it happened in study areas, is named Academic Procrastination.With the subject of 412 college students, the research explored the possible effects of some demographics on academic procrastination,the relationship between trait anxiety and academic procrastination, the relationship between ways of coping and academic, the effect of ways of coping on the relationship between trait anxiety and academic procrastination. The results show that:1. The child with siblings procrastinate more frequently than the only child.2. There's no enrollment difference exist in academic procrastination.3. Trait anxiety and academic procrastination are significant correlation.4. Mature ways of coping (problem solving, seeking help) can negative predicts academic procrastination; Immature ways of coping (fancy, self- reproach, withdrawal) can positive predicts academic procrastination. Mixed ways of coping cannot predict academic procrastination.5. None of the six components of ways of coping has moderation effect on the relationship between trait anxiety and academic procrastination.6. Self-reproach,fancy and rationalization have no mediation effect on the relationship between trait anxiety and academic procrastination, the rest three components has partial mediation effects on the relationship between trait anxiety and academic procrastination...
