As a significant part of translation studies, the nature of literary translation has been defined gradually along with the development of the western modern hermeneutics and philosophy. As a result, the translator turns out to be visible in the process of the establishment of the translated literature. What is more, the relationship between translator and translated text also obtains more consideration than before, so does the translated literature. It is well accepted that literature is a cultural and literary mean to communicate with the other countries, and as for this kind of communication, translator is the intermediary and the translated text is the carrier. Literature works are endowed with the foreign"soul"and the"figure"of the target literary after being translated. So, the translated text obtains"new life"which makes it distinguishable from the original text, and be qualified as a member of the target literature system. This paper will make further efforts to explain the translated literature and narrow the range according to the description about"the elites"produced by Ye Junjian. Not all the literature translation can be turned out as translated literature, just the brilliant translator and high-quality translated works can be ranged into the translated literature, and it is a kind of art as well as a creative translation which is named as translated masterpieces. Translated literature lies in a relatively stable system which keeps constructing; it is a special part of the whole literature system. What is more, it facilitates the advancement of the target literature system with its independent artistic and spiritual value. Hence one can not neglected that the obtrusion of the translator's subjectivity and constructive function of his/her poetic wisdom really contributes a lot to the excellent translated works. However, as the only life-related initiative in translation process, translator does not gain the corresponding confirmation and position he/she deserves for a long time. The Chinese traditional translation theories regard literature translation as a kind of literal and symbolic transformation and place translator in a subordinate position. Meanwhile, the translator's creativity also is always neglected. As a result, translator has ever been named as"servant""transmitter""reflection", and the subordinate status usually overlooks or underestimates translator's re-creativity in translation. Translator's subjectivity is stressed gradually along with the development of modern translation theories. Unlike the usual philological and linguistic perspectives, this paper will observe translator's subjectivity from the"poetic wisdom"perspective according to the connotation of poetic wisdom in order to achieve the further observation about the positive construction of translator's poetic wisdom to translation. As the only life-related factor in translation, this thesis considers translators subjectivity as the betraying of his/her poetic wisdom, in another word, translator's poetic wisdom is the original source of his/her subjectivity. It can be described in another way; the translator's poetic wisdom is the manifestation and representation of the translator's poetic understanding to translation, including the poetic understanding to the original text and the poetic representation of the translated text. As a result, translated literature carries the double qualities according to the original text and the translated text, the translator's poetic wisdom contributed a lot to the qualities. The philosophical outlook of"Harmonious unity of man and nature"in China supplies the academic basis for the research on the constructive process between translator's subjectivity and translated literature from the perspective of poetic wisdom, which illustrates the obtrusion and constructive contribution of the translator's poetic wisdom to the produce of translated literature. The formation and confirmation of translated literature is a dynamic historical process which consists of pursuit for the"Harmonious unity of man and nature", subjectivity betraying and coexistence of the different cultures. Based on the presentation above, this thesis will approach forward as follows:There are six chapters all together. Chapter one is the introduction part which mainly presents the research background, motivation, objectives, research methodologies and the significance of this thesis. Chapter two is the literature review part which focuses on the domestic and overseas studies have been made on this topic. All the relative influential fruits are included in this part. The third chapter is the scope of translated literature. This chapter just pays attention to the domestic research, including its position, category, features and significance in China. Chapter four is the theoretical basis of the whole thesis. A couple of relative theories are introduced briefly, such as the culture turn, skopos theory, manipulation theory in the western and"faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance","Resemblance in form and Resemblance in sense"and so on in China. Then, based on the previous descriptions, chapter five will focus on the internal and external constructive factors which exert great influence on the translator's poetic wisdom. The internal subjective factor as translation attitude, translation competence and aesthetic awareness as well as the external factors like the social and cultural factors are presented. At last, the thesis ends up by chapter six which consists of new findings, limitations and future orientation.
