American writer William Faulkner embodied his comprehension of the world by a certain of complex narrative method in his novels, which enabled Faulkner became a famous writer.Faulkner had broken the ruler of the traditional novel. There are a lot breaks in his novel, and the plots expand under the manipulation. It is always present in his novel, but the past and the future appeared naturally by a special narrative style. The author have analyzed his three novels, and found that there is a method called embedding. This method embodied the past and the future in present, which close the truth totally and help the motif.This dissertation consists of five parts:part 1 embodies the apart characteristic based on the analysis on Faulkner's three novels; part 2 and part 3 analyze the relation between the method and writer's creation value, and point out the special effect that the method brought to the time and the space; part 4 elaborates that the method help the motif a lot; part 5 point out the esthetic meaning of the method.
